"I received this Denali 23qt pressure canner, expecting to get 10lb and 15lb weights. What I got were two identical 10lb weights, but one had an additional indented valve. To my uncalibrated eye, the hole in each looked identical, but they are not. Also thought the pressure valve was missing, but before throwing out the packaging, I found a white box embedded in the white styrofoam, and it contained the pressure gauge. After testing on the stove, I found the installed indented valve allowed the canner to reach 15lbs with either of the two weights. Physics is amazing--microscopically smaller hole with same weight=15lbs of pressure. I'm using it now and everything's working great so far!"
