  • 10 strips applewood smoke bacon
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground fennel seeds
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder

  1. Cut bacon strips into halves or thirds. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine thyme, sage, brown sugar, fennel seeds, red pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well mixed.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mix on each side of the bacon strips.
